Lakes in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh has some of the most beautiful lakes in India set against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains and lush green valleys.  Some of the most popular lakes are Chandratal Lake, Parashar Lake, Renuka Lake, Rewalsar Lake, Khajjiar Lake, and so many others.  Check them out district-wise.

Temples in Himachal

Himachal Pradesh is also home to a number of important Hindu temples, some of which are Jwalaji Temple, Baijnath Temple, Chintpurni Temple, Baba Balaknath Temple, Hadimba Temple, and many others.  Just them out district-wise.

Monasteries in Himachal

There are also a number of Buddhist monasteries in Himachal Pradesh, including Tsuglagkhang, Key Monastery, Tabo Monastery, Guru Ghantal etc.  Most of the ancient monasteries are located in Lahaul and Spiti District.
