KANGRA

Kangra is the largest district in Himachal Pradesh and one of its most popular tourist destinations. It is renowned for the sacred Brajeshwari Devi Temple, Jwala Ji Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Baglamukhi Temple, and Baijnath Shiva Temple. The majestic Kangra Fort, one of India’s oldest forts, overlooks the valley. Popular hill stations include Dharamshala, Palampur, and Bir Billing, the latter of which is internationally famous for paragliding. There are innumerable lakes in the district.
