The Buddhi Nagin Devi Temple
After a long and somewhat tiring trek when one reaches the serolsar lake, all tiredness and fatigue vanishes. The beautiful lake is situated amidst tall dense green forest. It is oval is shape with clear water with no leaves floating on the surface. On the North side of the lake there is a small temple dedicated to the snake Goddess called Buddhi Naginin Devi. It is said the local women worship the Budhi Nagini Devi and offer her ghee while walking around the circumference of the lake.

Tourist Places near Jalori Pass
On reaching back Jalori pass, you can visit the ruins of Raghupur Garh Fort which is approx 4 to 5 kms on the other side of the Jalori Pass. The fort is at the top of a hill from which one can get fantastic view of the meadows, forests and mountains of the Pir Panjal range. The distance from Jalori Pass to Ani is 30 kms appx. There are many tourist places in Himachal Pradesh and also in places near Jalori Pass. Jalori pass is on the trekking route that will take you to many beautiful places in the area Shoja, Sakiran, Lambri, Bashleo and the Great Himalayan National Park.
How to Reach Seruvalsar Lake
By Air
The nearest airport is at Bhuntar Town in Kullu District. Kullu is 76 kms from Jalori Pass. From Bhuntar Kullu is 10 km and Manali 50 km. The other major airport is located at Chandigarh which is 300 km from Manali.
By Train
There is no railway network in Himachal Pradesh except in very few places. Jogindar Nagar is the nearest railway station towards Mandi to Dharamsala route. Nearest railway station is Chandigarh and Pathankot.
By Road
The entire state of Himachal Pradesh is connected by excellent roads with equally excellent public transport provided by the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC). HRTC has a huge fleet of buses catering to every part of the state as well as towns and cities of nearby states like Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Haridwar, Shimla, Dharamsala and Chamba, Dalhousie, Jammu and even to Leh during summer. The route between Manali to Chandigarh and to Delhi is absolutely fantastic with frequent bust services. Besides there are private operators running buses and taxis.
